The stretches that I’m outlining in this video series are not the only stretches you can do for back pain BUT they are the most EFFECTIVE.
These days, time is a commodity. I know you may not have much time to dedicate to stretching so I've chosen key stretches for the 3 most important areas to address your back. Remember that in order to maximize the benefits of these stretches you’ll want to practice your stretching routine 3 times a week minimum. Back pain can impact every movement in your body and so it is well worth your time to set aside 15 minutes a day to do these stretches.
Suffering through my own back pain recovery 6 years ago, these were the stretches that not only made the most impact on my recovery but continued practiced has kept my back pain from coming back, allowing me to be active in the things I love doing.
In today’s video, I’m going to take you through 2 different stretches that focus on the spine. Many of us don’t think about the small spaces between each vertebra but there are tiny muscles in there that can impact the amount of movement you get in your back.
Feeling stiff is partially due to these muscles not getting enough attention. The simple motion of twisting the spine will target these muscles not only opening up the space between each vertebra but also improving the health of your spine.
